Kenduri Kahwin Sana Sini..

Assalamu’alaikum..

Hello Weekdays! Love is in the air – Kad kahwin, bunga manggar, kompang, hantaran, bunga telur, Pengantin.. I just love weddings! Love to see the colorful pelamin n meja makan beradab, love to see saudara mara yg dah lama tak jumpa berpelukan, exchanging stories, love to see small cousins playing n running around, love to see babies laughing n love to see the happiness in everybody eyes, especially the Pengantin.. Seriously, rasa macam Hari Raya! =)

I think, the kahwin season is started.. Since last 2 weeks, we started receiving orders for wedding cards, banner n bunting (via Shaurah Touch).. Alhamdulillah, rezeki.. So, everyday me n En. Suami sibuk menyiapkan apa yg customer mintak.. Designing, printing, cutting, gluing, laughing.. Our own happy hours, in our home! =)

Last Saturday En. Suami was asked to sing on a wedding.. Actually, this is not the first time I heard him singing on a wedding, (the first one was our own wedding), but this is the first time I had to video cam him..

At first tuan rumah mintak En. Suami nyanyi 5 lagu.. But, oleh kerana tuan rumah had prepared other entertainment for the guests, so En. Suami decided to sing 2 songs only.. 1 before the groom arrived n another 1 is after.. En. Suami managed to sing well, despite of being di tengah2 meja makan tetamu (since there was no stage) while promoting his nasyeed group n album.. Habis je 2 lagu tu, kami pun mintak diri nak balik.. Masa dalam kereta, En. Suami dah tak sabar nak dengar n tengok hasil kerja tangan isteri dia ni.. But, I asked him to wait until I "do" something to the videos first (to be frank, I wrongly positioned the tab when video cam him, so need to do some adjustments on the videos first).. After few days, inilah hasilnya.. =)

Amacam? =) Belum sempat En. Suami buka mulut nak comment, dgn rasa tidak bersalah si isteri pun ckp kat En. Suami, “Orang kalau suara dah sedap, dengar dari angle mana pun sedap (^_-)v".. Silent.. Senyum.. Then, En. Suami pun jawab, "Nasib baiklah dari belakang pun Abang nampak handsome.." ("-_-)

Anyway, the wedding that we attended was great! Besides nasi minyak, ada laksa Penang, char koay teow, ice cream, teh tarik.. Persembahan teh tarik n boria (lama dah tak tengok!) pun ada.. Bak kata En. Suami, sekali pandang mcm majlis perasmian.. Papepun, we had a great time.. Terima kasih kpd tuan rumah – Hj Rashid dan isteri.. =)

p/s: Insya-Allah, next coming year, my 3 lovely sisters are planning to get married.. More weddings!!! Semoga Allah permudahkan urusan mereka dan juga urusan those yg akan mengadakan majlis perkahwinan in the future.. Amin.. =)

Hujan dan Durian..

Assalamu’alaikum…

What a nice weather we have here in Penang.. Hujan! Sy sgt sukakan hujan.. Rasa macam hujan dapat cuci smua keburukan dan kekotoran kt dunia ni.. Then, bila hujan dah reda, akan ada pelangi yg akn mewarnai dunia ni.. Kan?! =)

Anyway, I'm not going to write about pelangi or hujan.. Tp, hikmah di sebalik turunnya hujan.. Sebagai umat Islam, sy yakin hujan ialah rahmat drp Allah.. Pembawa rezeki yg kita tak pernah jangka.. Seriously.. =)

Mcm td, Mr. Boss came out of nowhere n gave me 3 durians.. He said he got them from Balik Pulau (btw, our company is so near with the durian plantation in Penang.. so those yg love durian mcm us, memang bestla!).. Actually, it is not the season yet (fyi, skrg baru nampak bunga durian.. most probably the season akan start somewhere in July!).. So, I’ve been wondering camne leh ada durian kt Balik Pulau kalau bukan musim lg.. So, Mr. Boss pun explain yg this durian is very special.. N harga dia pun agak mahal..

This particular durian, org Hokkien panggil “Ang Hay”.. Which means “red prawn” sebab this durian flesh are reddish in color with brownish husks.. Below ada sikit info about this Ang Hay..

Then, sampai rumah, terus mintak En. Suami belah durian tu while I'm preparing dinner.. N this is how my durian dinner looks like =)

So, durian lovers, the season is coming.. Come n try this Ang Hay n I'm sure u will love it!

Intro.. Breaking the Ice...

Assalamu’alaikum.. Finally, my very first entry! =)

When I first decided to have a blog, En. Suami asked what I want to write in that blog? Frankly, he knows, I'm not an expert in any field.. Neither in entertainment nor sport.. Automotive n politic apatah lg.. So, with a smile, I told him.. There are so much more fascinating stuffs in this life yg boleh dikongsi.. Dan Insya-Allah, semoga ianya akan mnjadi bekalan diri di akhirat kelak.. Then, En. Suami smiled.. Permission granted.. =)
