Oh Nyawa! Oh Badan!

Assalamu'alaikum..

Alhamdulillah, after weeks of battling with series of QMS audits, validations, paper works; today I'm calling a time off.. Brain-dead.. Tired.. When you are making  medical devices like us, you are talking about nyawa seseorang.. A single mistake can lead to death.. Kamilah doktor yg berada di belakang tabir.. Welcome to the world of Orthopaedics! =)

For those who have no idea, apa yg sy dok bebelkan kat atas tu, hope this video dapat beri a glimpse of what Orthopaedics is.. You will understand more if you had any broken bones due to accidents, usually called trauma, or undergone any reconstructive of your bone before; hip, knee, etc..

I will be out of town for about 1 week starting from tomorrow, leaving En. Suami alone.. This will be an invisible journey, which we have been struggling for years, trying to bring Malaysia to the world..Wish me n my team luck! Hope I can write again soon.. Till then, daa.. =)

Engineer Oh Engineer..

Assalamu'alaikum..

Are u an engineer? Are u feeling gloomy this Monday morning? This will light u up! (At least it did for me..) =)

There once was an engineer who had an exceptional gift for fixing all things mechanical. After serving his company loyally for over 30 years, he happily retired.

Several years later, the company contacted him regarding a seemingly impossible problem they were having with one of their multimillion dollar machines. They had tried everything and everyone to get the machine fixed, but to no avail. In desperation, they called on the retired engineer who had solved so many of their problems in the past.

The engineer reluctantly took the challenge. He spent a day studying the huge machine. At the end of the day, he marked a small “x” in chalk on a particular component of the machine and proudly stated, “This is where your problem is.”

The part was replaced and the machine worked perfectly again. The company received a bill for $50,000 from the engineer for his services. They demanded an itemized accounting of his charges.

The engineer responded:

One chalk mark . . . . . . . . . . . . . $1
Knowing where to put it . . . . . . . $49,999
